Bloomy monday

Another week has begun and again it’s monday, a bloomy monday. I shoot this flower on my trip through Norway and I don’t know what it is. The only thing I know, this little blossom, in fact it was only about 1cm in diameter, looked pretty to me and so I took a photo with my macro lens.
And now I wish all of you a nice and interesting week. From tomorrow on, I will show you, the whole week long, pictures from my Milky Way Adventure. If you are interested, stay tuned and read the full story on my homepage and enjoy the images.

Today some colorful flowers for the begining week. The weather forecast is predicting the summer. Until the weekend it should be up to 30°C here in Switzerland. I hope I’m ready for such hot conditions, I’m still waiting for snow…
Time to realize, this train is already gone now. Therefore we hope now for a very beatiful summer!

After stressfull weekend I can show you some beautiful flowers. The Bleeding Hearts are blooming again.
I like the color contrast with the yellow flowers on the background. As everything is blooming I am preparing for the next attack of hay fever, when the grasses begin to bloom. Probably this year is it short but intense.

I found this colorful flower in a grainfield. It’s maybe weet, but it looks pretty between the yellow grain.
For this image I used a 100mm macrolens to get a soft fore- and background. It was late in the evening and sun was nearly at the horizon. This was helpful to get powerful colors. More I can’t say to this image, therefore I shut up and you can enjoy the image.

Color explosion

Posted on April 16th, 2014

Yesterday was it not possible for me to write a post, because I made this image, and some more…
On my way home I was a little disappointed about the bad weather conditions. Dark clouds above me and no sunshine, but after I was outside the town and near my home village, I saw the horizon. And there weren’t any clouds. So what will happen, when the sun passing the clouds and come near the horizon where no clouds are? Right, it will send all the red light under the clouds and we will become a memorable sunset. And so it happend!

And again, it was a beautiful sunny monday, more or less, but it was warm. The flowers and the trees are beginning to bloom and all around me are twitters, ah I mean birds.
I shoot this flower in my garden and used a speedlight with a cable. The exposure time was short enough to darken the background but the flashlight was bright enough for the flower. Only the flower in the background was to close for the flash.
In this spirit; enjoy the spring and the nature awakening around you!

After we’ve got snow here, just a little bit, we should ask us; is it winter? No, it’s not, it’s spring! The winter had his chance during his season, now it has no space for snow. Where is the police, when we need them, the weather police? This is not correct, we need a debate, a committee and new laws. This is anarchy!
Okay, irony mode off :) for all of you who couldn’t enjoy a beautiful spring day I give you a nice little flower. It was very tiny, only 3mm each blossom.

The bloom

Posted on März 10th, 2014

After we cancled the winter, because of the bad request, we are going directly from autumn to spring. And therefore I show you also pictures from the early bloom. I know on other continents was it a real hard winter, but not here, we never saw anyone. Now the birds are tweeting and the flowers are blooming and the sun is shining, it’s spring time. Not at the calendar but in the nature.
